Enjoying the weather. About a week ago we had a sand storm here that lasted about five days. There no flights out of Abyei for those five days and people were constantly re-booking international flights and changing their time off requests. Lots of fun.
The day after the big storm almost destroyed the camp it looked like we were in for another but it didn't materialise.
I have been trying to get a good photo of these agoks but they are camera shy. They hide behind bushes and turn their faces away as you try to take their photos. I am going to end up wrestling one to the ground and holding it there in order to get a good photo.... I am joking of course. See if you can pick out the monkey in both of the photos below.
